Pamela Kaye Calvert, 59, Spearfish, died Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Family will be present at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Celebration of her Life will be held 1 pm Friday March 28, 2014 at the Deadwood VFW.
Pam was born on November 23, 1954, in Deadwood to Victor and Mildred (Timm) Lungren. She grew up in Deadwood and graduated from Lead High School in 1973. She started work at Carr's Pizza House for a couple of years and went on to work in sales and bookkeeping at various places.
Pam enjoyed gardening, cooking, boating, camping, collecting antiques, and cleaning her house. She loved all of her family and friends, as well as her animals. She got a lot of joy from being a grandmother, and having family dinners.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Jenica) Griffith, Loveland, CO; daughter, Jessi (Tony) Merkel, Woodway, TX; brothers, Larry (Bernie) Lungren, Spearfish, SD, and her twin, Tom Lungren, Belle Fourche; sister, Vikki (Conrad) Comer, Spearfish; grandchildren, Orianna Merkel, and Isabella and Carsen Griffith and her beloved dog, Baylee.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents.
