Pamela Joy Harman, 64, Sturgis, died on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Troy Geis officiating. Inurnment will be at Whitewood Cemetery at a later date.
Pam was born to Samuel Leonard and Thelma Rose (Matthews) Johnson on September 14, 1949, in Mitchell. She attended school in Whitewood until she married Marvin Anderson in 1966. This union was blessed with two daughters, Gina and Marva. Pam was then married to Kenneth Harman on November 20, 1971 in Gillette. This union was blessed with two sons, Kenny Dale and Andy. The couple lived in Wyoming until 1980 when they moved to Newell, where they continued to live for thirty years until they then retired to Sturgis in 2011.
Pam loved to do jigsaw puzzles, was an avid reader, and enjoyed embroidery, artwork, watching westerns, Law and Order, and Bones.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dale Harman; daughters, Gina Ann (Robert) Haiwick, and Marva Jo Davis; sons, Kenny Dale (Brenda) Harman, and Andy Dale Harman; mother, Thelma Rose Johnson; sisters, Sonja Kay Nonnast, Roxanna Louise Cooper, and Ione Fergusen; first husband, Marvin Anderson; thirteen grandchildren, Ashley Ann McNeese, Andrea Rose Stark, Alyssa Pearl Haiwick, Kaeleb Riley James Orr, Jhett Anthony Davis, Baylee Arcola Davis, Kaitlynn Marie Harman, Elizabeth Ellen Harman, Michael Dale Harman, Matthew Dale Harman, Chance Bueno, Vance Wyatt Harman, and Kasidi Dayle Harman; and five great-grandchildren.
Pam is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Leonard Johnson; and two sisters, Carole Ann Auer, and Nadine Meyers.
A memorial has been established.
