Obituary

Parker James Leon Faber was born January 28, 2011, in Spearfish, South Dakota, to Jenni Faber. For Parker, though, Sturgis was home, and that's where he and his partner in crime grew up together. When Parker was younger, he and Paxton were always into some type of planning, from stealing Aunt Tara's gum and Mountain Dew to running away to the park, and, according to Parker, it was always "Well, Paxton made me do it." It was also in Sturgis that he attended school and was active in football and basketball. When he was not in school or at school activities, Parker enjoyed skateboarding, video games, time at the community center, late-night mac-and-cheese talks with Mason, and fishing. He always kept busy by detailing cars, mowing lawns, or doing carefully selected odd jobs. He always had a business venture in mind.

He always wanted to make sure that everyone felt wanted and needed. Parker loved being around people and often surrounded himself with a group. Parker was a kid with a variety of friends in life. He made sure that no one was left out. If he saw someone who was looking sad or down and out, he was there to let them know they weren't alone, or he would try to put a smile on their face. Parker had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that would drown out anyone's sadness.

He is survived by his mother, Jenni Faber of Sturgis, SD; dad, Daniel Shinost of Sturgis, SD; brother, Cameron Faber of Miamisburg, OH; sister Devan McKenzie of Waseca, MN; uncle, Randy Faber and family of Stickney, SD; great aunt, Linda Adams of Sturgis, SD; Great Grandma Lindy Faber, Kalispell MT; Grandfather Jerry Faber, Kalispell MT; cousins, Adrien and Gina Adams, Aaron, and Audra of Sturgis, SD; partner in crime, Paxton Weyer of Sturgis, SD; Family in Montana; bonus family, Scott, Jessica, Christian, Abigail, Aubriella Boschee, and all the littles of Sturgis, SD; he had so many that he considered Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his Great Grandpa Carl Faber; Great Grandparents Al & Loretta Colton; Grandmother, Sheldine Faber; Uncle, Tim Faber; Aunt, Tara Fairbanks; and Uncle, Jon Walter.
