Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Sturgis.

Patty was born March 31, 1965, in Deadwood, SD, to Orville and Bonnie (Trebil) Sigler. She grew up in Sturgis where she graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 1984.

Patty married Bill Barff at Sturgis on September 22, 1984. The family lived in Rapid City until moving to Sturgis in 1991.

Patty was a loving mother and homemaker. She was proud of and loved her husband and three sons. Her life's joy was caring for her family. Patty enjoyed all of the holidays, especially Christmas when she and Bill spent days preparing and delivering treats and candy for their family and numerous friends. Patty also enjoyed the many years she worked at the West photo tower during the annual Sturgis Rally.

Patty was a free spirit and quick witted. She had a fantastic sense of humor and always had people laughing with her one line remarks. She was a brilliant comedienne who added many laughs to camping trips and family gatherings.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; three sons, Andy, Brandon, and Kyle; sisters, Peggy (Don) Kinney and Pam (John) Riggs; brother, Pat (Bobbi) Sigler; nieces and nephews include Scott Bekken, Stacey Shipley, Adam Riggs, Angela Poitras, Craig Sigler and Breanne Bosanko; and very special friend Dawn McCarthy.

She was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Bonnie Sigler.

It was a privilege and a blessing having Patty in all of our lives. She will be sorely missed.
