Pauline Hoffman, 92, Whitewood, died Thursday, October 9, 2008, at the Belle Fourche Health Care Center.
Visitation will be from noon until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel and will resume at Whitewood Presbyterian Church in Whitewood on Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 15, at the Whitewood Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Steve Agan officiating. Burial will be at the Whitewood Cemetery.
Pauline was born November 22, 1915, in Ashley, ND, to Daniel and Christina (Bertch) Rohrbach. At the age of 10, the family moved to South Dakota and lived in the Belle Fourche area. She attended school until the 8th grade in Belle Fourche. Pauline married Charles Ullarich. She married Al Hoffman in Whitewood on February 26, 1961. They lived in Whitewood for several years before moving to Belle Fourche.
Pauline was a member of the Whitewood Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sons, Clifford Ullarich, Federal Way, WA, and Leo Ullarich, Apple Valley, CA; three daughters, Margaret (John) Svetcoff, Belle Fourche, Betty Green, Seattle, WA, and Dorothy Mahloch, Williston, ND; one sister, Martha Schultz, Bellingham, WA; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Al; one brother; and seven sisters.
A memorial has been established to an educational fund for her grandchildren.
