Peggy Lee Barry was born January 7, 1959, to Eugene and Shirley (Shively) Barry in Douglas County of Omaha, NE. She was born 4 ^th out of seven children who were all one year apart so she had plenty of playmates (who loved and fought with each other). She was a best friend to her mother.

Peggy always made everyone feel welcome and loved. All the neighborhood kids knew and loved her.

Peggy never missed St. Patrick's Day and was sometimes called "The Little Irish Dancer" and could really "cut a rug".

She loved living in the hills of Crescent, Iowa, and watching eagles and nature. Some of her hobbies were gardening (she kept the most beautiful flower beds), morel mushroom hunting, journaling, antiques, thrift shopping, casinos, and a good laugh. She loved her grandchildren and she was their biggest fan.

She never left one of us out. She always made sure that we felt special. She will be forever missed!

Peggy Lee Barry, 62, of Black Hawk, SD, died Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Monument Health Rapid City hospital.

Peggy is survived by her three children, Trevor, Jason, and Randi Lyn; five grandchildren, Tristen, Hannah, McKenna, Gavin, Zander, and a grandson on the way; six siblings, Christine, Patricia, Susan, Cheryl, Tina, and Patrick; aunt, Mickey Robison, all her nieces and nephews, extended family, and her bird, Kiwi.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Joanne Beery; great-nephews, Lawrence Bolden Jr., Lawrence Bolden III, Montrell Burris; great-niece, T'Aries Price

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, SD.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, SD.

Memorial has been established.
