Peggy Jean Bohm, 65, Whitewood, died Monday, August 26, 2013, at the David M. Dorsett Health Care Center in Spearfish.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with Pastor Paul Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral chapel with the family present from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Peggy was born August 25, 1948, at Kellogg, ID, to Samuel Pearl Paul and Margie Imogene (Underwood) Martin. At the age of 16, she moved to Nevada, MO, where she worked at a nursing home.

She married Donald J. Bohm at Miami, OK, on August 4, 1978. The family resided in Missouri until moving to Whitewood in 1980. Peggy worked part time and was a stay at home "Mom."

She enjoyed crafts and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Don Bohm, Whitewood; sons, Paul Kerr, Sturgis, and Joseph (Jamie) Bohm, Faith, SD; daughters, Debbie (Tom) Gray, Blue Springs, MO, Shelley Bowers, Stantonsburg, NC, and Christina (Jason) Coffield, Whitewood; one stepsister, Darlene Parrott, Independence, MO; and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one son, and one daughter.

A memorial has been established to the Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
