Babe was born on October 8, 1934 in Stuart, Nebraska, to John and Marie Deseive. She married Wayne Overholt in 1950, and moved to Rapid City, SD; later moving to their Elk Creek Ranch in 1959 where the couple lived and worked for 38 years before retiring to their home in Piedmont in 1995.

Babe is survived by her husband, Wayne Overholt, Piedmont, SD; her daughter, Debbie (Wayne) Johnson, Piedmont, SD; four grandchildren: Chasity Overholt, Terry Gullage, Brian (Kelsey) Johnson, Angie (Gabe Arthur) Nemeth; and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by sons Brian and Dennis Overholt; parents, John and Marie Deseive, Battle Ground, WA; sister, Marge Overholt, Sturgis,
SD; and brother, Bob Deseive, Ridgefield, WA.
