Quinn was born October 7, 1986, in Shannon County, SD. He was adopted by Bob and Peggy Schleuning. Quinn grew up and attended school in Sturgis until his senior year. He then moved to Gillette.

Quinn liked basketball, baseball, and football and participated in those sports as he grew up. He worked the past several years in construction.

Quinn Patrick Schleuning, 30, Mt. Vernon, SD, and formerly of Sturgis, died Tuesday, August 22, 2917, in Mitchell.

He is survived by two sons, Elijah and Leo Schleuning; parents, Bob and Peggy Schleuning of Mitchell, SD; four brothers, Chris of Plankington, SD, Erick of Phoenix, AZ, Derick of Springfield, SD, and Shannon Hanson Black Crow of Springfield, SD; two sisters, Haley Jolley of Spearfish, and Joley Millard of Gillette; 17 nieces and nephews; and one great-niece.

Visitation with family will be Friday, August 25, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.
