Sturgis - Ralph Drewery Anthony, Jr, 64, died Thursday January 24, 2013 at the Fort Meade Veteran's Hospital, Fort Meade, SD. Ralph was born December 19, 1948 in Greensboro, NC in Guilford County. He served his county from 1969 to 1972. He was stationed overseas for about 2 years, he received a National Defense Service Medal and was Honorable discharged from service. Survivors include one sister, Susan Edwards and one step-sister Melanie Mize. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Martha (Boggan) Anthony, Sr. At his request Ralph has been cremated, and service are planned.
