Ralph William Garad, 67, of Lead, SD, died Monday, May 8, 2006, at Fort Meade Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He was born November 30, 1938 to Frank & Agatha Vaplon Garad, in Wilkin County, Minnesota.

Survivors include two brothers, Dennis Garad, Sun City, Ariz., and Frederick Garad, Fargo, N.D., and one sister, LaVonne Kolberg, Jamestown, N.D.

Burial was Tuesday, May 9, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. Kinkade Funeral Chapel of Sturgis was in charge of arrangements.
