Randall Jay Hemenway, 19, Newcastle, WY, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Pierre, SD.

Randall was born June 18, 1987 in Sturgis, SD to Dennis and Tracey (Felion) Hemenway. He graduated from Newcastle High School in May of 2006. Randall was currently working road construction in Pierre at the time of his death.

He was a two – time state wrestling champion in the state of Wyoming and a one - time national champion through the Rocky Mountain Nationals. Randall competed as a UFC fighter and was currently undefeated in his division. He loved to fish, ride 4-whellers, and paint ball.

Survivors include his father, Dennis Hemenway, Sturgis, SD; mother, Tracey Tupa and her husband, Dee, Newcastle, WY; brother, Derek Hemenway, and his wife, Katie, Sturgis; maternal grandmother, Marcia Fairchild and her husband, Jim, Marjorie Felion, Sturgis, SD; step – brothers, Nikolas Tupa, Bobby Tupa, Damon Tupa, and his wife, Kristi; great grandfather, Floyd Campbell, Sturgis; aunts and uncles, Terri Jo Felion, Darwin Felion, Doug and Jan Hemenway, Mike and Roxy Eillert, Rhonda Becker, Darrell Hemenway, and Cindy and Don Shore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Florence and Stuart Hemenway, and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Felion.
