Randy Joe Plotz, 66, passed away August 25, 2021 at Ft Meade VA Medical Center.

Randy was born in Carroll, Iowa on October 4, 1954 to Louis and Betty Ann (Oswald) Plotz. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1975.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, Tyler (Courtney) Plotz, Brett Plotz, and Jeff (Leona) Plotz; brothers, Ed Plotz, Rick Oswald, and Dick (Debbie) Oswald; sisters, Linda (Jim) Prince, Becky (Jim) Stouten; half-sister, Debra (Mark) Cole; half-brothers, Jeff (Lisa) Oswald and Joe (Karel) Oswald; step-daughter, Holly Spurlock and her children, Chyanne, Sophie, and Luke; and six grandchildren.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Plotz and Betty Ann Oswald; and sister-in-law, Connie Oswald.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 9:30 am at Black Hills National Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Sturgis Volunteer Honor Guard and the US Army.
