Ray Allen Muth, 86, went to be with our Lord on August 12, 2013.

He was born and raised in the St. Lawrence/Miller, SD area. He served in the U.S. Navy near the end of WWII on the island of Guam. After getting out of the Navy, Ray came back to South Dakota and joined his dad in the trucking industry. He owned and drove his own trucks over the road throughout the U.S. for over 60 years. When he retired he had driven over 7.5 million miles. He lived in Sturgis most of his life, but spent the last year and a half of his life in Gillette, WY.

Ray is survived by his son, Gary Muth; sister, Betty Lou Carter; granddaughters, Jessica Rae Bounds, Shawna Lynch, and Chelsea Bryant; grandsons, Christopher Muth, Scott Muth, Jr., and Clark Bryant; adopted son, Norm Stuen; and numerous other grand and great-grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his dad and mom, George and Delores; his wife, Gwen; and his son, Scott.

A memorial service will be held next summer in Sturgis, SD.
