GILLETTE, Wyo. - Raymond Jerald "Jerry" Ristesund, 56, Gillette, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at the Veterans Affairs Black Hills Health Care Center at Fort Meade.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Ristesund, Gillette; one daughter, Rebekah Bane, Denver; his mother, Dorothy Ristesund, Volga, S.D.; three brothers, Randy Ristesund, Sioux Falls, S.D., Gary Ristesund, Montrose, S.D., and Todd Ristesund, Sioux Falls; four sisters, Patty Flippin, Eastland, Texas, Sandy Callies, New Prague, Minn., Kimberly Ristesund, Volga, and Tami Klinkhammer, Wichita, Kan.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, with Rodney and Eleanor Elmore officiating. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, with military honors by the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard.
