Raymond Dallas Two Crow, born January 6, 1951, in Rapid City, South Dakota to Dallas and Minnie (Horse with Horns) Two Crow. Raymond passed away September 26, 2026, at Fort Meade VA Medical Center in Fort Meade, South Dakota.

Raymond was raised by his grandparents Manuel and Ella Jewett in White Horse along with Jackie, Kenny, and Tony Starkey. He attended White Horse Day School, Flandreau Indian School, and Cheyenne-Eagle Butte. Raymond joined the US Army in 1968 and was sent to Vietnam. He went on to do two tours of duty. When he came home, he spent time with family and friends, living and doing a lot. Making memories with everyone. He and Eddie Red Fox even tried being bull riders. Raymond loved to travel and check on relatives between New Mexico, Wyoming, and Rapid City. He believed the Lord and carried his Bible everywhere. Raymond was diagnosed with cancer and from then on, he lived life to the fullest according to his bucket list, as he called it. Raymond was a very proud veteran and always had stories of Vietnam. When he came home from the Army he lived with his aunt Audrey, uncle Harry Red Fox, and aunt Pauline White Eyes and family.

Raymond enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, sitting in the water, hiking, he loved it all. He also liked watching bull riding at the rodeos and going to pow wows. While staying at the farm during his cancer treatments he fell in love with the little itty-bitty town of Beresford, SD, while there he found peace sitting by the fire pit. Raymond just loved being outdoors with JoJo and all of his family.

He was a very happy person, very grateful for Shirley and JoJo for being with him to the end. He was always thinking of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Aaron Two Crow, Meiska Two Crow, Andrew Two Crow, Gideon Two Crow, and Bonnie Two Crow; brother, Merril Thompson; sister, Caroline Sand; special aunt, Margie Clown; special niece and nephew, Shirley and Cephas “JoJo” Wood; cousins, Jackie Dunn, Tony Starkey, Denise Fast Horse, Ila Sand, Cathy Tsosie, and Arletta Joyce Edwards; and many nieces and nephews to whom he never forgot!

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Two Crow and Minnie Horse with Horns; siblings, Janice Fast Horse, Randy Two Crow, Keith Fast Horse, and Aaron Widow; daughters, Kelly Two Crow and Mona Two Crow; great grandparents Clara Carrie Hawk Woman and Joseph Horse with Horns.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Two Crow, Sheldon Miner, Jarrod Fast Horse, JoJo Wood, Joey Bauer, Lee Wounded Knee, Greg Jewett, and Wesley Wolf. Honorary pallbearers are all of Raymonds friends and family.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Avera Cancer Hospital and also the Fort Meade VA E Ward Hospice for the care and compassion that they showed Raymond.
