Rebecca "Beck" (Larive) Reiman, 57, of Sturgis, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the Monument Heath Sturgis Care Center. She is now safe in the arms of angels.

Beck was born December 3, 1963 in Sturgis, SD to Nels and Kay (Blotz) Larive. The youngest of six, she grew up just north of Sturgis, attending school and graduating from Sturgis Brown High School in 1981.

She married Allen Reiman May 17, 1984 at Ft. Meade, SD. Together they spent time travelling together in Allen's semi or enjoying rides in the hills on motorcycles, enjoying a good NASCAR race, or with her sisters, shopping. Beck loved spending time with family, enjoying family get-togethers whenever they could. She liked to cook and her Jalapeno Poppers where always a hit at family gatherings. Beck's love of animals found her using her skills crocheting blankets for the Spearfish and Rapid City Humane Society to keep them warm and comfortable while they looked for their forever homes.

Grateful for the honor of sharing Beck's life are her significant other, Allen Reiman, Black Hawk; her brothers, Mark (Tanya) Larive, Sturgis, and Dan Larive, Sturgis; her sisters, Cindy Barry, Sturgis, and Lori (Bob) Packer, Sturgis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nels and Kay Larive; one brother, Charles M. Larive; and one infant sister, Mary Esther Larive.

A family memorial graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Sturgis.

A memorial has been established in Beck's name to the Western Hills Humane Society in Spearfish or the Humane Society of the Black Hills in Rapid City.
