Regie Dulay Velasco, 39, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in an auto vehicle accident near Piedmont, South Dakota.

He was born August 5, 1979 in Cordon, Isabela, Philippines to Rolando and Tina Velasco. Regie was raised in Cordon with his three brothers and one sister.

After growing up in Cordon he moved to Saudi Arabia where he worked in sales for several years. In 2013 he moved to Spearfish where he married Agnes Ramos on September 9, 2013.

Regie, Agnes, and her son, Gabriel moved to Rapid City in February 2014. The family of three welcomed a baby girl, Athena Rae, on October 20, 2016.

He enjoyed taking care of their home, always fixing and improving something around the house. He also enjoyed singing. But his pride and joy was always his daughter, Athena.  Regie became a stay-at-home dad after she was born.

Regie is survived by his wife, Agnes; daughter, Athena Rae; step son, Gabriel Bergstrom; brothers, Hilton, Arlan, and Roland; and sister, Cristina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolando and Tina Velasco.

Regie will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.
