Rick Lee Sigman, 38, Sturgis, died Thursday, August 17, 2006 as the result of an automobile accident.

Rick was born September 25, 1967 at Pueblo, CO. He was raised on the family ranch near Bear Butte Valley, East of Sturgis.

He graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 1985. After graduation he moved to California where he worked as a paralegal for a large law firm in San Francisco. He returned to South Dakota in 2005.

Survivors include his parents, Jim and Peggy Sigman, Sturgis; one brother and his wife, Bryce and Sandi Sigman, Sturgis; sisters, Bekki Reinert, Wall, Teena Sigman, Sturgis, Teresa Sigman, Rapid City; nephews, Casey and Cole Reinert; nieces, Breezy Millar, Tabitha Sigman, Cassie Sigman; great nieces and nephews, Kylie, Zane, Gavin Reinert, Trista and Jayda Reinert, Ryle Millar.

Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, August 21, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church in Sturgis with Pastor Harold Delbridge officiating.

Closed casket visitation will be noon until 9 pm on Sunday at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.

A memorial has been established to the Sioux Falls Children's Care Hospital.
