IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Alan Kaeser
June 16, 1948 – May 11, 2021
Robert "Bob" Kaeser died on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home in Sturgis, SD. Bob was surrounded by his loving wife of 52 years, Frances, and his long life friend, Frank Lawton.
The passing of Bob was sudden and unexpected. His family and friends grieve his loss, but honor his memory. Bob had a big heart. He was a true hard worker and provided for his family.
Bob grew up in New Jersey before moving to South Dakota. He felt the love of the land and adored the wildlife living in the mountains. He was as stubborn as a mule, as courageous as a lion, yet as gentle as a teddy bear.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Kaeser, whom he took care of and loved deeply; his oldest daughter, Pamela and her husband, Walter Feltman; and his youngest daughter, Frances, and her husband, David Curto. Adding to his legacy are his four wonderful grandchildren, Matthew, Erika, Ashley, and Daniel. He also leaves behind his fur child, "Poncho".
Bob was a member of the Old Bridge Auxiliary Police Department and was a machinist for Palnut in Clark, NJ prior to moving to South Dakota, where he maintained his machinist status at Corbon Ammunition in Sturgis, SD. Bob was a strong man who carried the weight on his shoulders so as to not allow his loved ones to be burdened. He cherished the three women in his life enough to take on two jobs, provide a roof over their heads, and food on the table. He chose to work as hard as he did to ensure a comfortable upbringing. He did that and so much more. He was a good friend to many and will be missed tremendously.
Dad - I write this for you. Mom, Pam, and I promise to always carry you with us in life. You may be physically gone from this world, but you will never be gone from our hearts. Your name will be spoken of often. We will honor you with a smile, laughter, and perhaps a shot of "good old JD" as you called it. I know that you do not want us to hurt for you, so we will find strength within ourselves. For you, Pam and I will always take care of mom.
"We won't be sad, we'll be glad
for all the life we've had
and we'll remember when"
