Funeral services for Robert "Bob" L. Anderson, 61, of Spearfish were Tuesday, May 22, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish.

Bob died May 19, 2007.

He was born May 12, 1946 in Vincennes, Ind., to Frank and Dorothea Anderson.

Among the many diverse careers Bob held, the majority of his time was spent as a uranium miner in Colorado and a software programmer in South Dakota. His greatest passion was to hunt, trap, fish and camp. He was an avid pilot and loved to fly.

His heart always had a special place for his family. He raised his children Robert Lester Anderson II, Crystal Anderson, Rachael Anderson, and Paul Anderson with his first wife Carolyn Larson. Later he raised Kristina Anderson and Travis Anderson with his second wife and now best friend Wanda Nelson.

He was very proud of his 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Mary Jane Norton and brother James Anderson.
