Robert Philip Bungert, 61, Sturgis, SD, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024.

He was born December 17, 1962, to Roy and Dorothy Bungert in Rapid City, SD. He served in the military in Germany for a short time before returning to the Black Hills. On his return he worked many different jobs, with tree work and being a mechanic being his passions.

Bob enjoyed fishing, especially with his dad, Roy, and loved being in the outdoors. He lived life to the fullest, loving to tease and prank his family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Roy Bungert.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; daughter, Brianna (Josh) Bungert-Everett; granddaughter, Oakleigh Wallace; three sisters, and one brother.

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 13, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, SD.
