Robert "Bobby" David Johnson was born on March 7, 1963 in Madison, WI to Lewis and Delores (Dover) Johnson. Bobby attended Stoughton High School in Stoughton, WI, and graduated in 1981. As a kid, he enjoyed camping with his cousins throughout southern Wisconsin and taking trips with the family to Lake Superior.
Even from early on, Bobby was always tinkering with a motorcycle or a car, and loved to ride and take drives. He loved going out to visit friends, young and old. He took the time to talk to the children and usually had a treat in his pocket or cooler for the pets. Bobby also greatly enjoyed music and loved to attend concerts. He could tell you the exact date and time of each concert he attended. He had an incredible memory. He could also belt out any song, and always knew all the words by heart.
Bobby Johnson, 57, of Whitewood, died Monday, February 8, 2021 in Sturgis.
He is survived by his uncles, Duane and Jerry; many cousins in Maine, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Minnesota, Illinois, Arizona, Georgia, and Alaska; his dear friends, Roseann and Charleigh Silvernagel; and many, many other beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Delores; his grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles; and two cousins.
A celebration of Bobby's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 20, 2021 at the Sidehack Saloon and Grill in Sturgis.
