Robert "Bob" Earle, 73, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on October 6, 1945 to Robert and Virginia (Chase) Earle. He grew up and attended school in Brockton.  After high school he went on to receive a degree in agriculture from Stockbridge School of Agriculture in Amherst, MA.  He joined the US Navy in 1966 and proudly served for 4 years during the Vietnam Era.

Before relocating to Rapid City, Bob worked as a golf pro where he put his degree in agriculture to good use, making sure the greens were always green. Since coming to Rapid City, 20 years ago, he has worked as a drywall finisher.  From golf, to drywall, to playing the guitar, it didn't matter what he was doing, he was always laughing.  Bob was a very kind and generous man that was always willing to help someone else.

His smile, kindness, and generosity will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Earle; daughter, Tara Earle; brothers, Richard and Douglas Earle; sister, Christine Earle; and several friends that thought of him as family.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
