Bob was born June 30, 1931, to Henry and Polly Dale. Bob was the second of six children. They moved to Piedmont when he was in the fifth grade.

Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being outdoors in the Black Hills. He was a great story teller and was always ready with a good joke. Bob worked for Owens Interstate for 35 years as a paint salesman to body shops in the Northern Hills.

Robert "Bob" Dale, 88, Sturgis, died Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Sturgis Regional Hospital.

Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jackie (Conger); daughter, Sheila Poklemba, Billings, MT; son, Ross (Angie) Dale, Sturgis; grandsons, Mason Dale, Denver, CO, and Bailey Dale, Grand Junction, CO; one brother, Dave (Sandy) Dale, Tilford; many nephews and nieces; and his special dog, Dusty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Shirley Martin, Elaine Bauer, and Ellen Stoll; and his brother, Raymond Dale.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at Foothills Baptist Church in Piedmont with Pastor Robert Hower officiating.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Sturgis Hospital for the outstanding care they gave Bob.
