Robert M. Inzer, 78, Sturgis, died Monday, June 8, 2009, at the Sturgis Regional Health Care Center.
Visitation will be noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with Pastor Joel Higgins officiating.
Bob was born June 27, 1930, at Birmingham, AL, to James and Alpha (Maun) Inzer. He grew up in Birmingham and graduated from High School.
He served his country honorably during the Korean War as a member of the US Army. Following his discharge, he returned to Alabama. He moved to Tulsa, OK, where he worked as a welder.
Bob married Virginia Chaney in Tulsa and they lived there several years.
Bob moved to Fayetteville, AR, where he met Mary Montgomery. They moved to Denver where Bob continued to work as a welder, metal fabricator, and ornamental iron worker. In 2007, Mary and Bob moved to Sturgis.
Survivors include his companion, Mary Montgomery, Sturgis; three sons, Wayne (Martha) Inzer, Fayetteville, AR, Doyle Inzer, Leander, TX, and John (Dianna) Spencer, Del Valley, TX; daughters, Debbie (Paul) Eagleton, Tulsa, OK, and Linda (Russell) DeNina, Tomball, TX; grandchildren, Eric, Jennifer, Kristin Talley, J.P., and Syndi Eagleton, and Chelsea and Hunter Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
