Robert D. Kautzman, 45, Vale, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at his residence.

Visitation was Friday from noon until 9 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the services at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services are today, Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dennis Reich officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Willow City, N.D.

Bob was born July 22, 1960, at Sidney, Mont., to Robert V. and Dorothy (Turpen) Kautzman. He grew up in the Williston, N.D., area. Bob lived and worked in many states before moving to South Dakota a few years ago.

Bob loved to read and do crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed "tinkering" with cars.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Dorothy and Leland Bostrom, Williston, N.D.; three sisters, Laurie Bostrom, Denver, Colo, Terry Solheim, Devils Lake, N.D., and Susan Bostrom, Denver, Colo.; two nieces; one nephew; one grandnephew; and special aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Adam Victor Hancock Kautzman; and his grandparents, Amelia Adams and Anna and Victor Bostrom.
