Robert Charles Moore, 86, of Piedmont, SD, died Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Fort Meade VA Medical Center, Fort Meade, SD.

Robert loved all things motorcycle – riding, racing, touring – but most of all the comraderies that came with being part of the motorcycle family. His enthusiasm for the sport goes back decades. Along with Pappy Hoel, he was an instrumental part in the early days of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

He is survived by his daughter, Jane Walsh; and stepchildren, Michael and Colleen Lannen.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at the Deadwood VFW, 10 Pine St., Deadwood, SD 57732.
