Our dearly departed Robert was born at the Sturgis Hospital August 2nd, 1960, and grew up on the family farm with his father, mother, and brother.

At the age of 17, Robert graduated from Bison High School in 1978, and in 1991 went on to graduate from Western Dakota VoTech in industrial electronics.

A faithful Christian, Robert was a member of Black Hawk Community Church for over 30 years.

In departing this life, he has re-joined his father, Robert M. Strand.

For his passing, his mother, Marion; brother, Gary (Stephanie) Strand; niece, Katie Strand; and nephew, David (Ryan) Blackmore, and his many friends, mourn his loss, but are blessed to have known Robert as a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, 10:30 a.m., Black Hawk Community Church, Black Hawk, SD. The service will be livestreamed on the church's Facebook page.
