Robert Raymond Taves, 83, Spearfish and formerly of Newell and Belle Fourche, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at David M. Dorsett Regional Senior Care in Spearfish.

Survivors include one son, Terry Taves, Springfield, and four grandchildren. His wife, Eleanor, preceded him in death. Inurnment services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish, with the Rev. Bob Yantis officiating.

Kinkade Funeral Chapel of Sturgis is in charge of arrangements.
