Robert J. Wallace, 55, Rapid City, died Friday, February 9, 2007, at his residence in Rapid City.
Visitation will be from noon until 5:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel. There will be a public prayer service at 7:00 p.m at the Believers Fellowship Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb 15, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the Believers Fellowship Church with Rev. John Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery.
Robert was born June 25, 1951, at Cottonwood, ID, to Eddie and Elaine (Stephens) Wallace. He graduated from Sturgis Brown High School. He attended Black Hills Teachers College and the University of South Dakota. Robert was a certified lumber grader. He loved fishing and vacationing in Washington. His special pride was his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his parents, Eddie Wallace, Fargo, OK, and Elaine Green, Sturgis, SD; special friend, Terry Pepper, Rapid City; two sons, Adrien (Gina) Adams, Sturgis, and Jacob Wallace, Rapid City; three daughters, Trinity (Tony) Jenniges, Rapid City, Amanda (Jerrod) Redick, Waynesville, MO, and Rachel Wallace, Springfield, MO; three brothers, Larry (Lila) Wallace, Sturgis, Richard (Debbie) Wallace, Gillette, WY, and Doug (Melissa) Green, Sturgis; three sisters, Diane (Mark) Meisel, Norfolk, NE, Karen (Scott) Helms, Rapid City, and Cheryl McElwain, Sturgis; and six grandchildren, Matias Deckard, Jordan, Justin, and Andrew Redick, and Aaron and Audra Adams.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Green, Donald Ray Wallace, and Michael Wallace; one daughter, Tiffany Oliver; and one sister, Debbie Wallace.
A memorial has been established.
