Robert S. Winstead, 57, Rapid City, SD, died Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital Hospice House.

Committal services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Black Hills National Cemetery with Pastor John McKnight officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard.

Robert was born July 12, 1955 at Sioux Falls, SD, to Howard E. and Helen A. (Reese) Winstead. Robert served his country honorably in the US Army from 1973 until 1976. Following his discharge he was a self employed commercial wall covering installer for 30 years. He lived in Rapid City from 1985 until the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife Cathy Winstead, Rapid City; brothers, Doug (Jenny) Winstead, Yankton, SD, Don Winstead, Rapid City; sister Ellen (Steve) Sylliaasen, Rapid City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
