Ronald Fischer was born in Bismarck ND, on May 29, 1941, to Reuben and Mary Fischer. He was one of six children growing up on a farm in Steele, ND. The family moved to Sturgis, SD, in 1960.
Ron got a job working on the Titan Missile Silos before meeting his wife, Margie. Ron continued working construction until he retired. He enjoyed the outdoors and tinkering. He and Margie were married for 55 years before he passed away at his home on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
Survivors include two sons, Bryan (Julie) Fischer, Sturgis, and Ronnie (Jill) Fischer, Rapid Cityl one daughter, Kimberly (Luke), Sturgis; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandson.
Visitation will be F:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jenene Earl officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.
