Ronald Alvin Lawson, born April 1, 1958, in Redford VA. passed away surrounded by the memories of a life filled with adventure, dedication, and love. Ronald was the son of Roy A. Lawson and Mamie (Cooper) Lawson. After graduating from high school, he proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, where he served honorably for four years. Following his military service, Ronald eventually made his home in South Dakota. He developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and could often be found fishing, enjoying nature, and spending time outside. The peacefulness of the water and the beauty of the outdoors brought him great happiness. While living in South Dakota, Ronald met his lifelong partner, Dawn Wagness. Together they shared many years of companionship, creating memories built on love, laughter, and a shared appreciation for the simple joys of life. Ronald will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the time he cherished with those closest to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
