STURGIS - Rose Eileen Bruce, 75, Sturgis, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at Sturgis Regional Health Care Center.

Survivors include her husband, Don Bruce, Sturgis; four sons, Max Bruce and Terry Bruce, both of Gillette, Wyo., Gene Bruce, Celina, Ohio, and Jerry Bruce, Sedona, Ariz.; two daughters, Debbie Patmore and Connie Berg, both of Sturgis; four brothers, Melvin Schubauer, Rapid City, Frank Schubauer, Valentine, Neb., Otto Schubauer, Sioux City, Neb., Greg Schubauer, Valentine, Neb.; one sister, Monica Francke, Valentine; one sister-in-law, Wanda Schubauer, Valentine; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, with a wake service at 7 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Sturgis with the Rev. Arnold Kari officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.

A memorial has been established to the Bear Butte Elementary School first graders.
