Rosemary Gayle Meyer was born in Gordon, Nebraska to Delbert William and Elma Ellen (Morgan) Hines on September 20, 1939. She was the youngest of five children.  The family moved to Seattle, Washington for a short time before moving back to South Dakota and settling in Nemo.

Rosemary met Frederick Meyer while he was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base, and they were married on March 4, 1957.  To this union three children were born. The family lived in Connecticut and New York State before they were divorced.  Rosemary and her significant other, Richard Burnezsky, moved back to Nemo in 1983 where she resided until the time of her passing.

She will be remembered for her love of fishing, how she enjoyed playing cards with her brothers and sisters but most of all her love for her grandson, Zach.  Rosemary was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Rosemary Gayle Meyer, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at her home in Nemo.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Elma Hines; sisters, Madeline and Maxine; brother, Roger; and her significant other, Richard Burnezsky.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Meyer and Kimberly (Chris) Cook; son, Derrick Meyer; grandson, Zachary Cook (Lisa Whitehead); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
