Rozelle Purchase, 71, Deadwood, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011at the David M. Dorsett Healthcare Center in Spearfish.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church in Lead with Pastor Steve Agan officiating. Inurnment will be held at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Deadwood following the service.

Rozelle attended Deadwood Elementary as a child and graduated from Deadwood High School in 1958. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star #26 of Deadwood as well as a past member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 5969.

Rozelle is survived by her ex-husband, Don Purchase; a son, Steven Purchase; step-sons, Dennis Purchase and Stephen Purchase; brother Merno "Jr." Stalder; two grandchildren, Matt Bunch, Brian Burleson; four great-grandchildren; and special friends Marita Noeller, Pam Kirby, and Darleen Thacker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lori Lynn; a step-son, Donald J. Purchase, and a great-granddaughter, Averi Bunch.

A memorial has been established.
