Sadie Joann Huston, 51, died January 13, 2013, at her home in Ft. Pierre, SD.

Sadie was born in Philip, SD, on January 18, 1961, to Jack Jr. and Berdena Huston of Midland. She grew up on the Huston Ranch near Red Owl, SD, until 1981 where she enjoyed her horse, Bunnie, her dog, Sport, and other pets such as Annie the antelope and Buck the deer. She attended school in Sturgis and Midland, SD, and later earned her GED in 1997. She was employed at Sutley's Super Savings Store in Ft. Pierre.

Sadie is survived by her mom, Berdena Huston of Sturgis; children, Walker and Gracey; brothers, Jack (Roxie), Bill, and Tom (Kathy) of Sturgis, and Robert (Teresa) of Valdez, AK; sisters, Margaret (Mike) Covey of Commerce City, CO, Marilyn Huston-Engle (Jeff) of Belle Fourche, and Shianne (Steve) Huston of Casper WY.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Huston Jr. and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with Pastor Harold Delbridge officiating.
