Sally A. Allen, 80, was born March 10, 1939, to Frank and Myrtle (Oxford) Cash. She passed away on March 2, 2020, at Avantara North in Rapid City, SD.
Sally was an adventurous soul. She wasn't afraid to tackle any situation head on. She was a hard worker and was never afraid to work.
Sally joined the United States Air Force in 1957. There, she met her future husband, Gene Allen. While the marriage didn't work out, they did have 2 daughters born to this union, Amber Lynn and Lisa Diane.
Sally worked hard at several different jobs, even putting herself through night school to become a secretary. There were tough times, but she always persevered and was the most supportive mom. She definitely had your back while telling you what you did wrong.
Sally is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Steve) Carlson of Arlington, SD, and Lisa (Tom) Armer of Higley, AZ; sisters, Leona Crawford of Nebraska, and Judy (David) Doyen of Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Kacee Kirsch (Scott Burnham) of Sturgis, SD; great-granddaughters, Casper Hudson and Katlynn Tarrant; and great-grandson, Lucas Hudson all of Sturgis, SD.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Loyd Cash; sister, Laura Hatfield; and her granddaughter, Shannon Kirsch.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
