Our Sally Brown, 79, of Rapid City, SD, passed away on the eve of Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Avantara Saint Cloud in Rapid City, SD.

Sally was one of 8 children. She was born Sally Louise Muller to William and Clarcie Muller (Giles) on July 27, 1942, in Rapid City, SD. In her youth, if she wasn't making music with her family, you could find her at the sock hop, roller skating rinks, or shooting pool.

In more recent years, when you stopped in to Sally's house, she always had a fresh pot of coffee and great conversation waiting. Sally had an amazing smile, personality, and was always there to lend an ear or give advice.

Her first marriage was to Fred Morgan, Sr. in 1958. They had 3 children together. They remained friends until he passed away October 1, 2015. Sally married Nuri Brown January 6, 1978, and together had one daughter and brought up 4 beautiful children, Freddy, Sarah, Danny, and Geneva.

Sally is the grandmother of 9 and the great-grandmother of 11. She was the best mom ever, a fantastic grandma, a wonderful great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed immensely.

Sally is survived by her husband, Nuri Brown; her children, Sarah Harwood, Danny Morgan, and Geneva Saner; two sisters, Betty Phillis, and Donna Taylor; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Sally was proceeded in death by both parents; two sisters; three brothers; and one son.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Saint Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church, 532 Adams St. in Rapid City, SD, with a visitation to begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. View cemetery.
