Sandra “Sandy” Craig of Spearfish, South Dakota passed away on October 16, 2026 after complications from a brief illness.

Sandy was born December 23, 1951 to Roger (Red) and Dora Huddleston in Newcastle, Wyoming. She grew up in Roubaix, South Dakota and attended Deadwood High School in Deadwood, SD.

She met and married the love of her life, Darrell Craig on September 2, 1971. Together they enjoyed traveling across and seeing the U.S.A. while Darrell was a long-haul truck driver before settling in Spearfish. She also enjoyed getting together with her brother and his wife for what could turn into a joyful but competitive game of Yahtzee or Shut-The-Box.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell; and her brother, Rod (Candy) Huddleston of Whitewood, SD.

Funeral services will be held at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis at a later date.
