Sandra Jean Myrick of Spearfish, SD died at Rapid City Monument Health on May 25, 2026.

She was born May 2, 1958, in Brentford, South Dakota to Vivian and Harold Myrick. She attended Sturgis Brown High and graduated from there in 1976.

She was a fighter and took on every challenge as something she would come out of better on the other side. She loved her family unconditionally and was always there to extend a helping hand no matter what was going on in her life. She battled health issues with God leading her way. Sandra was always smiling and loving life.

Sandra is survived by her son, Chris (Kelly) Myrick; grandchildren, Jayden, Marcus, and Josie; great granddaughter, Marlow; brother, James Eugene and his two children, Travis and Taylor; sister Joy and her two children Jordan and Jenny; baby sister, Christy and her four children, Lindsey (Andy), Stephanie, Ashley, and Dustin; and seven great nieces and nephews, Peter, Raven, Cayden, Noah, Abby, Carter, and Aurora.

A small Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Sturgis, South Dakota at 4 pm on Thursday May 28, 2026.
