Sarah Marie Austin, 23, Union Center, SD, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, as the result of an automobile accident.

Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Meade County Community Center in Union Center with Pastor Harold Delbridge officiating. Burial will follow at the Red Owl Cemetery.

Sarah was born October 11, 1984, in Deadwood, SD, to Bryan and Laurie (Eilert) Austin. She grew up at Enning. She moved to Sturgis where she graduated from Sturgis Brown High School. While in high school, Sarah was a cheerleader and was also a member of the ROTC Color Guard. She was crowned Miss Junior South Dakota and was third runner-up in the Miss Junior America pageant. Sarah has been living at Union Center for the last four years loving and raising her family, her fiance', Kasey, and their three daughters. Sarah attended Black Hills State University and was currently taking online classes at Vermillion Nursing School Program. She had made the dean's list. Sarah was currently employed at Sturgis Regional Senior Care Center as a CRA.

Survivors include her mother, Laurie Austin, Rapid City; her father and stepmother, Bryan and Tyra Austin, Enning; her fiance', Kasey Spring, Union Center, and his parents, Glen and Robbin Spring, Union Center; three daughters, Mariah Spring, Shaniah Spring, and Alanah Spring, Union Center; six brothers, Derek Austin, Aaron Austin, Zach Austin, Zane Austin, Chance Whidby, and Shane Whidby, all of Sturgis; brother and sister-in-laws to be, Kelly, Kayla, and Kerry Spring, all of Union Center; her maternal grandmother, Clara Eilert, Sturgis; her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Patty Austin, White Owl; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial has been established to benefit her three children.
