Sarah Margaret Stout, 49, Sturgis, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at her residence in Sturgis.

Visitation was Thursday, from noon until 9 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 3, 2006, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, with Father Vern Raschke officiating. Burial followed at Bear Butte Cemetery.

Sarah was born Feb. 28, 1956, at Colorado Springs, Colo., to Robert and Gwenllyn (Davenport) Stout. She grew up in the Midwest.

She worked for the Albany County Sheriff in the domestic violence department. Sarah retired and moved to Sturgis.

Survivors include her husband, Don Feser, Sturgis; two sisters, Katherine Elizabeth Martel, Albany, N.Y., and Martha Jarvis Ward, Chicago, Ill.; and an uncle, Tom Stout, Maine.

Her parents preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Registry for Domestic Violence.
