Shaine Coty Boeckmann was born January 26, 1987, in Tucson, AZ, to Joel and Diana (Merrick) Boeckmann. He was a gifted artist, drawing and painting. He was a talented wood-worker, making many beautiful pieces of furniture for his friends and family. Shaine worked in construction as a sub-contractor.
Shaine, 31, Sturgis, SD, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at his home after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife, Dennon; son, Gavin; father, Joel Boeckmann; sisters, Chantel Mahood, and Sharessa Boeckmann; niece, Diana; nephew, Sebastian; mother-in-law, Becky Williamson; fathers-in-law, Chris Williamson and Sean Christensen; grandmothers, Bonnie Horan, Vicki Abels, and Marie Merrick.
Shaine is preceded in death by his mother, Diana Boeckmann; and grandpa, John Merrick.
Shaine will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held in Waterloo, IA, at a later date.
