Sharon Swesey, 81, of Spearfish passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Spearfish Canyon Healthcare in Spearfish, SD.  Per her request cremation has taken place.

Sharon Swesey was born December 3, 1942, in Whitewood, SD, to Michael and Fern Peterson.  She was raised in Whitewood, where she attended school thru the 8th grade.  She then met and married Fred Swesey.  They ranched for several years, before moving to Sturgis.  She then went to work in housekeeping at Fort Meade Department of Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, working there for over 20 years until retiring.

Sharon enjoyed yard work and gardening.
