Shawn Jon Marshall passed away on September 25, in Rapid City. Shawn was born on September 30, 1966, in Anaheim, CA. After high school he worked in construction. Eventually he moved to Seattle, WA. He worked on a salmon fishing boat for two seasons. He then worked laying carpet for many years. Then he moved to Rapid City. He worked for Pepsi, Coca Cola, and finally Rushmore Vending.

Shawn enjoyed working out, playing softball and golf, and hanging out poolside. His favorite NFL team, the Los Angeles Rams, are the current Super Bowl champions.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Roger Marshall and Mary Beamish; brothers, Todd and his wife Brenda of Woodbury, MN, Kevin and his fiancé Pam of Bothell, WA; girlfriend, Allison Barkurst of Rapid City; Nieces, Kelsie Freitag and her husband Ben and great nephew Zayne Marshall Freitag of Lakeville, MN, Kalyn Marshall of Tacoma, WA; nephew, Taylor Marshall of Apple Valley, MN; Stepmother, Fran Fremont and family; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many special friends.

Memorial services will be held Monday, October 10, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Spearfish.
