IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sherrie Quinton
Hall
May 11, 1947 – July 15, 2025
Sherrie was born in Lubbock Texas and had a gypsy soul that she inherited from her parents Jack and Marie Quinton.
Her father traveled all over the southwest and up the pacific coast working as an electrician. Sherrie grew up knowing tremendous country and could tell you everything about New Mexico and Texas that you would ever want to know. She always wanted to move back to the southwest but did enjoy living in South Dakota and Nebraska.
Sherrie attended Radiology school in California. From there she moved east and met Don Hall in Washington DC at George Washington Hospital. Both worked in radiology together as technologists and a marriage followed.
Not stopping her gypsy ways after marrying, her and her husband moved to Virginia, North Carolina, Michigan, Illinois, Custer, SD, Gering, Nebraska and ending up finally in Hot Springs SD.
Her children that ensued are Victoria Hall (Rapid City), Seth (Kelli) Hall (St. Mary's, PA) and Samantha (Stacey) Weaver (Pringle, SD). None of the children graduated at the same schools and can remember very few of the schools they attended 😊
Sherrie loved Arabian horses and for the longest time, showed and bred them. As age increased, she went to dogs who weren't any smaller than horses- Newfoundlands. Sherrie and Don showed and competed with their five very loved Newfies – Blossom, Ellie, Jasper, Rosie and Hannah. They gained many friends in the dog showing world and was truly pure happiness for them.
Sherrie worked for Dakota Radiology for many years as the mobile mammography tech. Her job took her all over SD, NE, WY and ND. She loved the traveling and her fondest memories were of Eagle Butte Hospital who gave her a star quilt when she retired. She was loved by many facilities and patients and was a wonderful technologist.
Per her wishes no services will be held.
