IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sheryl M.
Hunter
January 6, 1949 – October 5, 2017
Sheryl was born January 6, 1949, during the "blizzard of 49," at home in Minnesela, SD, to Garrett and Marietta (Alexander) Kimball. She married David Hunter November 29, 1969, in Newell, SD. Through this union of 48 years were born three wonderful children. Sheryl worked as a dental assistant for 25 years and was very active in the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Belle Fourche, serving on several boards and also teaching Sunday school.
She was dedicated to her family and friends. With a wonderful sense of humor, she was loving, kind, and thoughtful of those around her. She always took time to listen with her heartfelt ear. Sheryl was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Never complaining, she was strong and gentle. She loved the simple things in life, from decorating cakes to crafts like painting rocks and making homemade cards that the family all looked forward to receiving. Sheryl will be forever and dearly missed.
