Belle Fourche, SD Shirley J. (Lester) Parker, 71 Belle Fourche, died November 30, 2007 at Spearfish Regional Hospital. Shirley was born June 19, 1936 at Milbank S.D. to Walter and Ruby Meyer. Shirley worked in Hospitality for 30 years, 15 years at the Hop Scotch Bar and 15 years at the Chuckwagon in Ft. Pierre, S.D Shirleys love of horses made her an avid collector of statues and pictures. She was known only as GRANDMA the pint sized powerhouse, to everyone who knew her. She loved watching her grandsons participate in High School Rodeo and spending time with her family. She married Truman Parker on June 2nd 1976 in Chamberlain, S.D. She is survived by her husband Truman; her son Glen (Cathy) Lester; daughters Glenda (Steve) Nielson, Brenda (Mark) Benson, Jada (Jim) Udager; grandchildren, Shellie, Greg, Heather, Jenny, Amber, Nicole, Katie, Jason, Justin and six great grandchildren; sister Doris and stepchildren Cameron and Karleen Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings, 1 son, 2 granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson. Cards and condolences may be sent to 1520 Mill Street Belle Fourche, SD 57717.
